This collection is a compendium of newspapers published in various cities and towns in the state of North Carolina from 1852 until 2009. Robert SinkLexington, North Carolina

Robert Frederick Sink (1905-1965) was born and raised in Lexington, North Carolina. During his distinguished career in the military he rose to the rank of Lieutenant General and in World War II commanded the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment - where he was portrayed in the book and TV miniseries Band of Brothers.
